There is no perfect way of eating.

This page will be a safe space for you to venture for delicious and comforting food if that is what you are looking for! Life can sometimes be too exhausting to leave room for creativity in the kitchen.  I ain't no chef cuisinaire here, but I will share with you foods that I love and are easy to make. I learned how to bake before I learned how to cook by the way!

If you are trying to move away from the diet cycle or recovering from an eating disorder it is important to have meal or snack ideas that are free of nutrition information. Sometimes this information can trigger dieting symptoms. Therefore, there will be no nutritional breakdown of recipes on this page for that reason - except if it is related to allergies or FODMAP friendly food items. I hope you enjoy these foods and please feel free to send photos, reviews, modifications of recipes or even share your own favourites!

How we feel affects how we feed ourselves.

I love this quote from Ruby Tandoh:

"It (food) should nourish your body as much as it fuels your mind; it should pump life through your veins; it should waltz in sync with your mood and your appetite, sometimes blissful, often mundane, always a part of you."
