Intuitive Eating described as "freeing" by many of my clients is a way to make peace with food. Designed by two Registered Dietitians – Elyse Resch & Evelyne Tribole, over 20 years ago, it is now gaining great popularity. I believe our bodies have internal wisdom that provides us with body cues to let us know when we are hungry or full. With our diet-obsessed culture, some of us have developed an inability to recognize these cues – I can help you with this. This approach entails accepting all foods and embracing nutrition gently. It encompasses finding joyful movement (not exercising for calorie burning) and learning to respect the way our bodies are meant to be. It is an approach for all ages, one that I particularly enjoy introducing to young people as well or sharing how to grow intuitive eaters.

 

Intuitive Eating is a process, not a diet. It is for life. We are actually born intuitive eaters, but many of us have moved away from it. If you have tried and are exhausted from all the restriction, counting and guilt then maybe it's time to get back to your innate body wisdom. I can help you with this.

You deserve to be able to reach your fullest potential, which requires nourishment.
